About Me
From a very young age, I was drawn to sign language. Through meaningful relationships with D/deaf individuals who shared their language and culture with me, I learned the foundations of ASL and developed a deep appreciation for the community. Over the years, my love of the people and ASL has only deepened.
Now, as a recent graduate of the Phoenix College Interpreter Preparation Program, I am honored to begin my professional journey and utilize my passion for ASL, the Deaf community, and communication to bridge the linguistic and cultural gap between two worlds.

Letters of Recommendation
To Whom It May Concern,
I am pleased to recommend Kristy, whom I had the opportunity to work with during her time as an intern in sign language interpreting. In that role, I was able to closely observe her growth, work ethic, and commitment to the profession.
Kristy is exceptionally dependable—someone you can consistently rely on to show up prepared, engaged, and ready to contribute. She approaches her work with genuine enthusiasm, which not only supports her own development but also positively impacts those around her. Whether navigating new environments or working with a variety of clients, Kristy demonstrates strong adaptability and a willingness to learn, both of which are essential in the interpreting field.
What stands out most is her professionalism and her respect for the individuals she serves. She is thoughtful in her approach, receptive to feedback, and continually strives to improve her skills. These qualities, combined with her positive attitude, make her a strong asset to any team.
I am confident that Kristy will bring the same level of dedication, flexibility, and enthusiasm to any position she pursues. I highly recommend her for this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Kristin Randall
I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Kristina Schrader. I highly recommend Kristina for her accomplishments in becoming an American Sign Language interpreter.
I have known Kristina for the past 18 years, as Kristina has taken the following courses that she learned to become an ASL interpreter. As her friend, I have had an opportunity to observe her participation and interaction in person and at Arizona Total Immersion, and to evaluate Kristina's knowledge of the subject matter. She is an outstanding student in all respects. Kristina has proven that through hard work, follow-through, and teamwork.
She has taken a lot of hours on her courses and her projects. Not only did she participate in Arizona Total Immersion, but she has also been involved in volunteering, taken her internship as an interpreter, attended the deaf coffee chats at Coffee Rush, and helped as an interpreter at times when my cochlear battery had died.
Kristina would be a great addition as an interpreter, and lots of future clients will enjoy her interpreting services in the future.
Sincerely,
Anthony Chos
